If anyone needed another reason to not vote for John McCain or to be glad that Mitt Romney, for all of his subterfuge, is still not the GOP candidate for president and has no chance of being in the Trump administration, this get-together in the Arizona desert on Thursday night could be it. McCain tells the group gathered there, “his friends,” that “We live in a world that is on fire,” blaming the pretend ‘president’ who believes in “leading from behind and when you lead from behind somebody else leads from in front.” Adding, “And this has been the most disastrous ‘presidency’ in the history of this country.” He says, “And we need to have a majority in the United States Senate,” although a majority that doesn’t include him would be better than one that does in the opinion of many. He and his “friends” in the majority have done nothing to slow down the worst ‘presidency’ in the history of this nation.
